For its upcoming edition—the second to be held in Santarém—Iberanime has scheduled a lineup featuring major artist and figures from music, cosplay, traditional arts, and more!

The Rising of MADKID

Known in the anime community for their recurrent opening performances for The Rising of the Shield Hero, MADKID is a Japanese group composed of rappers LIN and YUKI and vocalists YOU-TA, SHIN, and KAZUKI.

Since their formation in 2014, the band has brought its unique rap sound to many anime, including songs for all four seasons of The Rising of the Shield Hero, Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre, Sasaki and Peeps, Tadaima, Okaeri, and more. Their latest anime performance is “Mad Pulse,” opening theme of Digimon Beatbreak, which is currently airing.

SOSOSO: The Pop and Punk Mix

Japanese vocalist Miyu Ukiyo and German producer DRFTR joined forces on 2022 to start SOSOSO: a musical project that blends pop, rock, and futuristic punk. Based in Berlin, the duo have been regulars and conventions across Europe and Japan with their “outside-the-box” performances.

Kana Yamasaki is a Japanese manga artist who decided to direct her creative focus towards Europe, exploring themes such as identity, diversity, and intercultural connections. Based in the United Kingdom, she’s active on both YouTube and Instagram discussing her experience with Japanese publishers and her creative process.

Her works will be on display in Iberanime’s Drawing Zone, and the mangaka will also host manga workshops and engage in conversations with the public.

The Art of Cosplay

The Iberanime Santarém experience will include cosplayers from across Europe, who will meet with their fans, attend panels, and share their creative process.

Wynter is a Swiss cosplayer regular at conventions across Europe, participating as a jury member, host, speaker, and workshop leader. Furthermore, Wynter represented her home country in prestigious international cosplay competitions in 2022. In addition to her cosplay craftsmanship, she has a degree in mediamatics—a field that combines technology, design, and digital communication.

Irish cosplayer Bambi Lashes started her cosplay career in 2014 and hasn’t stopped since. While she loves judging, Bambi Lashes also represented Ireland in International Cosplay League, Polymanga Global Easter Cosplay, and Eurocosplay.

Grand winner of the 2025 Cosplay World Masters finals, Danish cosplayer Caiva is known for her detailed armor, complex props, and choice of materials. You can find her performing in many international competitions and events.
