The “Japanese-style ayakashi Cinderella” story with over 5.8 million copies in circulation, The Ogre’s Bride, will premiere in 2026, as announced by the anime’s official website. Saori Hayami will play the main character Yuzu, and is joined by Yuichiro Umehara, who plays the “most beautiful man Yuzu has ever seen,” Reiya. The Ogre’s Bride adapts the manga adaptation of the original novel series of the same name. Kureha is the original creator, with Jun Togashi drawing the manga.
