The preview images of episode 1 of the upcoming Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective are now out. The anime is scheduled to air its first episode on October 2 at 22:30 (JST), with the succeeding episodes expected to air every Monday. It will be distributed simultaneously on Crunchyroll and Netflix.
The first episode will introduce the incompetent police detective Totomaru “Toto” Isshiki, and the titular eccentric private detective Ron Kamonohashi, as they investigate the case of the metropolitan serial drownings together. Check the preview images here:
Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective anime adaptation is based on an ongoing manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Akira Amano. Diomedéa is animating the series while Shota Ibata is directing. Wataru Watari is overseeing the series composition, and Yo Tsuji is doing the musical score. UNISON SQUARE GARDEN is performing the opening theme “Ikenai fool logic,” and hockrockb is singing the ending theme “Lip-sync.” The cast of the anime includes:
