The Sword Art Online (SAO): Progressive – Scherzo of Deep Night movie has received a new release date and will premiere on October 22, having been delayed due to the rising cases of COVID-19 in Japan. The movie was originally scheduled to open on September 10. A visual with the updated release date has been released:

Sword Art Online is a light novel series by Reki Kawahara that started in 2009. It has received several anime adaptations, as well as games, movies, manga, and light novels.
