Secrets of the Silent Witch anime has previewed Episode 9 of the series. Takaomi Kanasaki (Princess Connect! Re:Dive) is writing the episode’s script and doing the storyboard, while Mitsuyu Yokono (The Apothecary Diaries Episode 12) is directing. Crunchyroll and Bilili are streaming the episode slated to premiere on Friday, August 29, 2025.

The assassination attempt on the Second Prince was prevented in advance by Monica, the “Silent Witch.” When the defensive barrier she had set up at the academy was broken, Louis, the “Barrier Mage,” arrived on the scene. Louis attempts to take the culprit of the assassination incident into custody, but Monica stops him. An attempted assassination of a member of the royal family would normally mean certain execution, so Monica tries to negotiate with Louis. Meanwhile, Second Prince Felix realizes that the “Silent Witch” had played a role in preventing this assassination attempt…
Studio Gokumi is animating the series. Hitsujibungako is performing both the theme songs and Saya Aizawa plays the titular character, Monica Everett.
