See Sakamoto and Order in Action in New Sakamoto Days x Vaundy Jump Music Video

A new collaboration between SAKAMOTO DAYS and Vaundy includes an action-packed music video, now available on the official Shonen Jump Channel on YouTube. The video is part of the “JUMP MV” project, which pairs Weekly Shonen Jump titles with popular artists from Sony Music Group. This is the 36th entry in the ongoing series.

The track featured in the video, “RUN SAKAMOTO RUN” (“Hashire SAKAMOTO”) is the opening theme song for the SAKAMOTO DAYS anime. The video includes scenes from the manga featuring Sakamoto and members of the Order, as well as some of their upcoming enemies. You can check it out below.

SAKAMOTO DAYS x Vaundy Jump Music Video Featuring Order in Action

SAKAMOTO DAYS is a Japanese manga by Yuto Suzuki. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since 2020, with 21 volumes released as of March 4, 2024. Volume 22 is set to release on June 4. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English. The franchise also has its first game set for a Spring 2025 release.

Studio TMS Entertainment is in charge of the SAKAMOTO DAYS anime adaptation, which is coming back with Cour 2 on July 14.

The story follows Taro Sakamoto, a once legendary hitman who retired to marry and have a child. Now he runs a store, but his past life will not let him simply rest. Despite having attained a different physical apperance, Sakamoto will not hesistate to protect his family and take down anyone who tries to put them in danger.

The first part of SAKAMOTO DAYS is currently streaming on Netflix, where it spent 10 consecutive weeks on the Netflix Global Top 10 TV (non-English) list during its original run.
