Senpai Is an Otokonoko sequel movie has revealed the first key visual and a new trailer ahead of its February 14 (Valentine’s Day) premiere date in Japan. The movie was announced right after the TV anime’s finale in September. Studio Project No. 9 is returning to animate.
The trailer introduces the ending theme song “Otona ni Narenai” by Kujira (also known as Whale Don’t Sleep).
Toshiya Miyata from Kis-My-Ft2 is also joining the voice cast as Hiroshi Hongo. Returning members include:

The main staff from the TV anime is returning for the Senpai Is an Otokonoko movie. It’s directed by Nobunaga Yagi, with series composition by Yoriko Tomita and character design by Shoto Shinkai.
The Senpai Is an Otokonoko anime is based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Pom. It was digitally published through Line Manga from 2019 to 2021. Ichijinsha acquired the title in 2021 and published it in print over 10 volumes. Crunchyroll streams the anime, describing the story:
For Makoto Hanaoka, life’s about to get more complicated. Saki Aoi, a lively girl with loads of confidence, confesses her love for Makoto one day. When he fails to reciprocate, Saki declares she will be his first love! She shares her goal with a mutual friend, Ryuji Taiga, who also confesses his crush on Makoto.
