The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 has revealed its release date, and the anime will premiere on October 6. Studio Kinema citrus is in charge of the animation, with Hitoshi Saga as the director. You can watch the latest trailer for the anime:

MADKID is performing the opening theme “SIN” (featured in the trailer above), while Chiai Fujikawa is in charge of the ending theme song “Suki ni Natte wa Ikenai Riyu.”
Season 1 was animated by Kinema Citrus under Takao Abo’s direction, and it ran for 25 episodes from January to June 2019. Season 2 ran for 13 episodes from April to June 2022. DR Movie animated the sequel, while Masato Jinbo was the director. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime.
The Rising of the Shield Hero is a Japanese light novel series by Aneko Yusagi, with Seira Minami’s illustrations. Media Factory has been publishing it since 2013, as well as the manga adaptation by Aiya Kyu since 2014. One Peace Books licensed the original The Rising of the Shield Hero light novel series in English. The adaptation of the 3rd season will start at volume 10, and you can read the synopsis below:
