Shun Horie joined the Spy x Family cast as one of Anya’s classmates, George Glooman. George was introduced in the first half of the 19th episode as someone who has a bone to pick with Damian Desmond. As the story progresses we find out the reasons for his grudge, but not all as is as it appears to be.
Horie is a voice actor well-known for his roles as Ichiro Suzuki in Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody, Kazuya in Rent-a-Girlfriend anime, Shun in I’m a Spider, So What?, and Hacker in Akudama Drive. He also voices Rommel in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and he also voiced Asta in the 2016 Jump Festa Black Clover special.
Spy x Family has been on a roll when it comes to introducing new characters lately. Just last week, we got a chance to see Yuichi Nakamura voice Daybreak – a spy who was hired to mess with Damian’s grades. The explanation behind his mysterious appearance was shown in this episode and it turns out that George played a role in it.
