Shunsui Kyoraku Takes on Lille Barro in BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 35 Preview

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 -The Conflict- anime revealed the preview for Episode 9 (Episode 35 overall). The episode is titled “DON’T CHASE A SHADOW” and will premiere this Saturday on November 30. You can check out the preview images, staff and synopsis below.

The official website describes the story for the episode:
Using the modified Bankai “Konjiki Ashisogi Jizo: Matai Fukuin Shotai,” Mayuri Kurotsuchi swallows Pernida and lets out a triumphant laugh in the Fourth District. However, a strange phenomenon begins to affect Ashisogi Jizo.

Meanwhile, Kisuke Urahara and Shunsui Kyoraku sense the fluctuation in Mayuri’s spiritual pressure. Despite their concerns, they also worry about the dire situation of the significantly reduced number of Shinigami, who are now so few that their presence can barely be felt. To address this, Shunsui decides to take on Lille Barro himself.

Studio Pierrot previously produced the original TV anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s BLEACH manga, which aired between October 2004 and March 2012 with a total of 366 episodes. VIZ Media licensed it in English.

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 -The Conflict- was voted the most anticipated Fall 2024 anime. It premiered on October 5, and the first two episodes both ranked first in our weekly ranking. It then fell down to the 2nd place, which it kept until Aizen’s appearance and return to the top. It returned to the top in the latest ranking.

The BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls console game has also confirmed its release date for early 2025.
