TV anime Skeleton Knight in Another World has revealed the opening song titled “Ah, My Romantic Road” performed by Norwegian singer/songwriter Per Fredrik Åsly, also known as PelleK. The song was composed by Japanese composer eba.
PelleK previously made rock and metal covers of songs from popular anime titles including Naruto, Tokyo Ghoul, Attack on Titan, and Demon Slayer, among others. He also sang for several game titles and TV series, including Power Rangers, Path of Exile, and League of Legends.
I have been singing for 15 years now and [I] am a huge anime fan, so this is a dream come true for me. I know how big an impact the opening has on an anime franchise. So, I was so honored by this great opportunity and I’ve done my best. This song itself perfectly captures both the strength of the characters and the universe, but also how fragile everything is. I hope you like it and listen to it a lot.
Statement from PelleK
The song is now up for listening across digital platforms, including Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple, and Amazon.
Skeleton Knight in Another World premiered on April 7 and has previously announced its ending song “Bokura ga Oroka da Nante Dare ga Itta” by DIALOUGE+. The series is available to watch on Crunchyroll and Muse Asia in select regions.
