Summer Time Rendering anime adaptation revealed a key visual and a trailer for the second cour of the series. Studio OLM is animating the adaptation of Yasuki Tanaka’s manga, which began airing in Japan in April and is continuing throughout the summer. The anime is a Disney+ exclusive, meaning it isn’t streaming outside of the platform (except in some regions). The worldwide release date still hasn’t been announced.
The trailer for the second cour of Summer Time Rendering also features the new opening song “Natsu Yume Noisy” by Asaka. Riria is singing the ending theme, titled “Shitsuren Song Takusan Kiite Naite Bakari no Watashi wa Mou.“
A new cast addition has been revealed as well. Yuko Sanpei is voicing Ryuunosuke, a character with a connection to Hizuru. The previously announced cast includes:
- Natsuki Hanae as Shinpei Ajiro
- Sahi Shirasu as Mio Kofune
- Anna Nagase as Ushio Kofune
- Yoko Hikasa as Hizuru Minakata
- Jin Urayama as Ginjiro Nezu
- Maki Kawase as Tokiko Hishigata
- Kensho Ono as Sou Hishigata
- Misaki Kuno as Heine
- Akio Otsuka as Seido Hishigat
Ryuunosuke’s character design was also revealed:
Ayumu Watanabe is directing the anime. Miki Matsumoto is in charge of character designs and Hiroshi Seki is doing series composition. MONACA’s Hoashi Keigo, Okabe Keichii, and Takada Ryuuichi are composing the music. The anime is set to have a total of 25 episodes.
