Sword Art Online has unveiled a 5-minute music video featuring the full theme song for the franchise’s 10th anniversary, “Sokyu no Fanfare“. The singers of SAO anime theme songs, Eir Aoi, ReoNa, and ASCA performed the song together with Yuki Kajiura’s FictionJunction. Yuki Kajiura composed the music for the anime series and also wrote this song. The song and the music video are available on FictionJunction’s YouTube.
The anime marked its 10th anniversary on July 8, 2022 and will hold an event titled “Sword Art Online: Full Dive” on November 6, 2022, to celebrate the milestone. November 6 is a very important day in the Sword Art Online series because it is the day the SAO incident occurred in the original story.
