Tasuketsu Anime Will Run for 2 Consecutive Cours, Reveals New Visual and Cast

The Tasuketsu anime will officially run for 2 consecutive cours starting on July 2, with a new visual and cast members revealed as part of the announcement. Studio Satelight is animating the series.

Tasuketsu – New Anime Key Visual

The new cast additions for the Tasuketsu anime include:

  • Toshiki Kumagai as Raion Ono
  • Satoshi Niwa as Shuuji Nihon’yanagi
  • Sayumi Suzushiro as Hikari Ebina
  • Kaito Ishikawa as Ko Kirishima
  • Noeru Kawashima as Kai Kasai
  • Yusuke Shirai as Seraphiel
  • Yoko Hikasa as Maria Kisaragi

The theme songs are “Emperor Time” by VIVARUSH as the opening theme and “GAME OVER” by issey as the ending theme. You can hear the opening song in the latest trailer for the anime.

Taskuetsu – Anime Trailer

Tatsuo Sato is both directing and handling the series composition for the Tasuketsu anime adaptation. Tooru Hamasaki is serving as assistant director, Nami Hayashi is the character designer, Daisuke Suzuki is the art director, while R・O・N is in charge of the music.

Tasuketsu: Fate of the Majority is a Japanese manga written and drawn by Taiga Miyakawa, which began serialization on Comic Smart’s Ganma! website in September 2013. The manga is composed of three parts: the first part ran from 2013 to 2014, the second part, titled Tasuketsu: FINAL KEQ, ran from 2015 to 2017, and the third part Tasuketsu: Judgement Assizes, debuted in November 2017.

The series follows a group of five in a world where people have suddenly disappeared. A mysterious self-proclaimed “Emperor” gathers five people together through anonymous messages and has them participate in a game. Participants answer the question “Do you want to live or die?” The game has only one rule: “Majority dies.”
