Tenko-saki no Seiso Karen na Bishojo ga, Mukashi Danshi to Omotte Issho ni Asonda Osananajimi Datta Ken, also known as Tenbin, is getting a TV anime in 2026. Ikumi Hasegawa will voice the main girl, Haruki Nikaido.
The anime was announced in September 23 during the Sneaker Bunko 35th Anniversary Festa livestream, while this is the first update since then. You can watch the teaser video below.

To celebrate the announcement, the novel’s illustrator Shiso drew a special congratulatory illustration.
The story first appeared as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro in June 2020. IKadokawa released a revised edition with illustrations under its Sneaker Bunko label in February 2021. Since then, the series has continued to grow, with the ninth volume scheduled for release on August 29, 2025. A manga adaptation illustrated by Kina Oyama is also ongoing, with seven volumes released so far.
The story follows Hayato Kirishima, who moves from the countryside to a city high school. There he unexpectedly reunites with Haruki, a childhood friend he hadn’t seen in seven years. Back when they were kids, Hayato assumed Haruki was a boy, but now Haruki has grown into a beautiful girl. Their reunion sets the stage for a romantic comedy of misunderstandings, nostalgia, and new feelings.
