That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Coleus’ Dream revealed the opening today ahead of the October 31 premiere. 8bit is animating the three-episode OVA which technically premieres at midnight on November 1 JST. Takuma Terashima is singing the opening theme song, titled “Hikari Hanatasu”:
Coleus’ Dream is an original short story written by Fuse that was included in the second season’s Blu-ray release. The OVA was announced last year, along with the premiere date for the third season – spring 2024. The series is also known as Tensura among fans.
Atsushi Nakayama is directing the OVA, with Ryoma Ebata on the character designs. Toshizo Nemoto is in charge of the series composition. Hitoshi Fujima is composing the music. The ending theme song is “Kokoro Travel” by Miho Okasaki. The cast will see some new additions but also returning names from the TV anime:

Tensura is a Japanese light novel series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. The anime adaptation actually follows the manga, which features illustrations by Taiki Kawakami. A TV anime adaptation by 8bit has 48 episodes split across two TV seasons. It also has a spin-off anime titled The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, which adapted one of the manga spin-off series. The franchise also has a movie titled Scarlet Bond.
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and describes the plot as:
Corporate worker Mikami Satoru is stabbed by a random killer, and is reborn to an alternate world. But he turns out to be reborn a slime!
Thrown into this new world with the name Rimuru, he begins his quest to create a world that’s welcoming to all races.
