Crunchyroll announced that it has acquired global theatrical distribution rights (excluding most of Asia) to That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea, which premieres in Japan on February 27. No staff for the upcoming That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea have been confirmed. Eightbit returns for animation production, and Bandai Namco Filmworks is handling domestic distribution. Crunchyroll, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Sony Pictures Releasing International are handling international distribution in most territories.
