The official The Apothecary Diaries X (formerly Twitter) announced that the anime will receive its first-ever online game in a post dated July 29. Titled The Apothecary Diaries: Palace Chronicles, the upcoming game will be available in browsers and was teased by developer G123 as a simulation game where players can “raise Maomao.” You can check out the first The Apothecary Diaries: Palace Chronicles game promotional visuals below.

You can pre-register for the game at the G123 website. A pre-registration campaign is currently underway with the following reward milestones:
- 50,000 sign-ups: 50x Draw Tickets
- 100,000 sign-ups: 20x Tea Items
- 200,000 sign-ups: Character “Xiaolan”
The game was described: “A simulation game adaptation of The Apothecary Diaries anime is here! Raise Maomao and take on various cases within the palace and the pleasure district. Enjoy the world of the series casually, while deepening your bonds with familiar characters like Jinshi and Concubine Gyokuyou—featuring exclusive original illustrations!“
Over 35 characters will appear in the upcoming The Apothecary Diaries game, where players “raise Maomao, solve cases, and craft medicine in an original story setting.” It also follows the fictitious The Apothecary Diaries School♡Diaries game, announced for April Fool’s Day 2025. Its release date is slated for the year 20XX.

The Apothecary Diaries was directed by Norihiro Naganuma (Season 1, Chief Director: Season 2) and Akinori Fudesaka (Season 2) at the co-producing studios Toho Animation Studio and OLM. A sequel anime has been announced.
