The Battle Continues in Re:Zero Season 3 Episode 10 Preview

Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 3 has revealed the preview trailer for Episode 10, which is the second episode of its Part 2: Counterattack Arc. The anime ranked first in Week 5 following the premiere of its second part last week.

The next episode’s title is “The Battle to Conquer Greed,” and it premieres this Wednesday, February 12. You can see the trailer, preview images, synopsis and staff below.

Capella, the Sin Archbishop of Lust, appears at the city hall where Anastasia and the others are. Ferris, desperate to find a way to cure Crusch, who suffers from the effects of dragon blood, asks for a solution. However, Capella refuses to respond properly and ends up capturing Ferris.

Meanwhile, in the Third District, the battle between Reinhard and Regulus—the Strongest vs. the Invincible—intensifies. Subaru and Emilia attempt various strategies to uncover the secret behind Regulus’ “invincibility,” which allows him to withstand any attack without injury.

Studio WHITE FOX is back to animate Re:ZERO Season 3, which premiered with a 90-minute special episode on October 2. It is directed by Masahiro Shinohara, with Haruka Sagawa as the character designer/chief animation director, Masahiro Yokotani on the series composition, and Kenichiro Suehiro on the music.

We got to interview some of the Re:ZERO Season 3 staff, including the director and character designer, as well as Subaru’s Japanese voice actor Yusuke Kobayashi.

The new season is divided into 2 parts:

  • Attack Arc (8 episodes)
  • Counterattack Arc (8 episodes)

The Re:ZERO light novel by Tappei Nagatsuki first started on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in April 2012. The light novel version began in January 2014, featuring illustrations by Shin’ichiro Otsuka. Both are currently ongoing. The first season of the TV anime adaptation ran for 25 episodes from April to September 2016. Season 2 followed with 2 split cours, which aired through the Summer 2020 and Winter 2021 anime seasons.
