The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses Season 2 Gets New Visual and Trailer

The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses Season 2 anime revealed a new visual and trailer, along with introducing the theme songs. It is set to premiere on July 4, with Tezuka Production returning to animate the sequel. The new visual is a combined version of the two rival cafés.

Besides the Familia Café Terrace, you can also see the rival Café Restaurant Family members. The opening theme song will be “Charge!” by Hikari Kodama, while the ending song will be “Nacchatta!” by Aglio olio e peperoncino.

The main staff from the first season is returning, including Satoshi Kuwabara as the director, Keiichiro Ochi in charge of the script, and Masatsune Noguchi as the character designer. The cast for the rival café was previously announced, and includes:

  • Ayana Taketatsu as Ririka Chiyoda
  • Reina Ueda as Moemi Soya
  • Kana Hanazawa as Hekiru Yoshino
  • Yu Serizawa as Valentina Azuma

The main cast are reprising their roles:

  • Aya Yamane as Riho Tsukishima 
  • Sayumi Suzushiro as Ami Tsuruga 
  • Asami Seto as Akane Hooji 
  • Ruriko Aoki as Oka Makuzawa 
  • Kazue Ikura as Sachiko Kusakabe

The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses anime is based on the manga by Koji Seo. It began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in February 2021. Kodansha USA licensed it in English. Crunchyroll streams the anime, describing the story:
After inheriting his late grandmother’s failing café, Hayato sees it as a bother and plans to sell it for a quick buck. Until he discovers five beautiful girls staying there! When they beg him to keep the café open, Hayato reluctantly gives in. Can he manage the seaside shop while learning to live with these unruly women?
