Why Blue Lock Season 2 Is Good Despite the Flaws
Thanks to Reo’s “Chameleon Defense,” which copied Aiku’s play, the BLUE LOCK Eleven managed to avoid a crisis. However, immediately afterward, Ryusei Shido, who had felt a connection with Sae’s teamwork, finally entered the state of heightened focus known as “FLOW,” triggering an “explosion” that amazes everyone watching.
The flow of the game completely shifted in favor of the U-20 Japan team, forcing the coach, Ego, to admit, “I have no plan beyond this,” effectively abandoning tactics. However, triggered by the harsh words from one player, Ego decides to use their final substitution slot to bring in the “joker.”
The anime recently revealed a new key visual and trailer for the BLUE LOCK vs U-20 JAPAN arc/match.
Muneyuki Kaneshiro writes the BLUE LOCK manga, with art by Yusuke Nomura. Kodansha is publishing the manga in English. The story follows BLUE LOCK, the project to create the ultimate egoistical striker that will take Japan to a World Cup trophy.
