The Level 999 Villager Details

The upcoming Lv999 no Murabito TV anime adapts the light novel by Koneko Hoshitsuki. Hoshitsuki-san first debuted the series as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website, publishing it from July 2015 to December 2018. Enterbrain (Kadokawa) acquired the title and published it as an eight-volume light novel series, featuring illustrations by Fuumi. The light novel’s run lasted from April 2026 to January 2019.

Kenichi Iwamoto adapted The Level 999 Villager into a manga in May 2017. Comp Ace magazine serializes the manga; Kadokawa has published 19 tankobon volumes of the series. MangaPlaza releases the English version of the manga.

The Level 999 Villager tells the story of Koji Kagami. In his world, people are assigned to one of eight classes, with the villager class being the lowest. And as a lowly villager, the lowest of all classes, Koji’s life seems like it will always be devoid of greatness. But when Koji finds out that killing monsters brings great rewards, he quickly rises in the ranks to achieve what always seemed impossible — level 999 maxed out stats.
