The Misfit of Demon King Academy Season 2 is delaying episode 22, as announced earlier today. Initially scheduled for a June 21 premiere, the episode will now air on June 28. The delay comes weeks after the broadcast of episode 19 was also postponed.
With the new schedule, episode 23 is now airing on July 3, while the broadcast of the finale (episode 24) is yet to be determined. The second season of The Misfit of Demon King Academy has been plagued with delays since the beginning.
It initially began broadcasting last spring, but due to numerous delays the broadcast was restarted in the summer. The second cour, which covers the Selection Judgment arc, began broadcasting on April 12 of this year. Studio SILVER LINK is animating The Misfit of Demon King Academy Season 2 and the staff includes:

The Misfit of Demon King Academy series is based on a light novel written by Shu and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma. The light novel started serialization in Dengeki Bunko in 2018, with a manga adaptation by Kayaharuka following in MangaUp! magazine. As Kayaharuka passed away, after battling pancreatic cancer, the manga has been put on indefinite hiatus.
The sequel saw a major main cast change, as Yuichiro Umehara replaced Tatsuhisa Suzuki as the voice of Anos. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and describes the plot:
Anos Voldigoad was a tyrannical Demon King that eradicated humans, spirits, and even the gods, but became bored of eternal warfare and reincarnated with dreams of a peaceful world. However, what awaited him in reincarnation after 2000 years were descendants who became too weak after being accustomed to peace, and all sorts of magic that deteriorated to the extreme.
Anos enters Demon King Academy that gathers and educates those who are viewed as the reincarnation of the Demon King, but the academy could not see through his true powers and ends up branding him as a misfit.
