The upcoming The Quintessential Quintuplets movie has revealed a new key visual. The anime film will premiere on May 20 in Japan. The new key visual is available below:
The movie was announced right after the broadcast of the 12th of the episode the anime’s second season and a trailer has been previously revealed:
The first season of The Quintessential Quintuplets anime aired in 2019, and it had a total of 12 episodes. Satoshi Kuwabara directed it, while studio Tezuka Productions (Kanojo mo Kanojo) took care of the animation. Season 2 of the anime aired in 2021 under Bibury Animation Studios (Azur Lane). It also had a total of 12 episodes and Kaori is the one who directed it.

The Quintessential Quintuplets is a Japanese manga series by Negi Haruba. Kodansha started serializing it in August 2017, and ended in February 2019, with a total of 14 volumes. Kodansha is also serializing the manga series in English. The movie will adapt the 11th volume of the manga series and you can read the synopsis below:
While on a school trip to Kyoto, the sisters’ relationships nearly go south as they vie for Futaro’s affection, but they weather the storm, come out stronger for it, and enjoy the trip in the end.
