The Rascal Does Not Dream series will finally be getting an English dub version, which is coming out on the upcoming Blu-ray release this November. The Right Stuf announced that the Aniplex release will include the first season of the anime and the Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl movie. In addition to the dub, this Blu-ray collection will feature an exclusive booklet, along with creditless versions of the opening and ending, commercials, trailers, and more.
The release date for the Blu-ray has been set for November 14 of this year. It is available for pre-order at $127.98. The listing states that due to licensing and contract restrictions, this product can be sold and shipped to the US, Canada, South America, and Central America only. The English dub cast for the Rascal Does Not Dream series hasn’t been revealed yet.
Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai) is a Japanese light novel series written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keji Mizoguchi. The serialization began in April 2014 and is still ongoing with a total of 11 released volumes as of now. It received a manga adaptation by Tsugumi Nanamiya, which ran from December 2015 to 2018. The series received a 13-episode anime adaptation by studio CloverWorks, as well as a sequel movie titled Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl. A sequel movie, titled Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out, premiered in June of this year while the Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid movie is following in December.
