The previously confirmed The Saga of Tanya the Evil Season 2 unveiled a teaser trailer and visual. Studio NUT will return to animate the sequel, premiering in 2026.
Takayuki Yukimoto is directing the sequel, with Kenta Ihara in charge of the series composition and Yuji Hosogoe as the character designer and chief animation director. The first season of the anime premiered in January 2017, and A theatrical film titled Saga of Tanya the Evil: The Movie was released in Japan in February 2019.

The anime is based on a novel written by Carlo Zen and illustrations provided by Shinobu Shinotsuki. It began serialization online in 2010 on the novel publishing website Arcadia before being acquired by Enterbrain in October 2013. Yen Press is releasing the light novel and manga in English.
Crunchyroll is streaming the first season, describing it as follows:
It is June of the year CE 1923. A young girl with blond hair and blue eyes, Tanya Degurechaff, has entered the final curriculum of the Imperial Military Academy and is training at the third patrol line in the northern military district, the Norden Theater, as part of her service to the force. Her training, the first step toward a brilliant career as an aviation mage, should have gone off without a hitch… but things took an unexpected turn.
