In Spring, she demonstrated her versatility as Haruno Akiyama in mono and Amagi in I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! Daiki Yamashita is the Male Seiyuu of the Year, a recognition that feels especially meaningful in 2025. His powerful and heartfelt performance as Izuku Midoriya in the final season of My Hero Academia truly left a mark. From explosive battle cries to quiet, emotional moments, he delivered a portrayal that captured the very essence of a hero’s journey.

Voicing Deku for nearly a decade is no easy task, yet Yamashita maintained unwavering consistency from beginning to end. He started the role with raw determination and growth, and concluded it on an emotional high note. His resilience and dedication ensured that Deku evolved naturally over the years, making the character’s final chapter all the more impactful.

While he also lent his voice to other titles this year, there is no doubt that Deku stands as the defining role of his career. Being named Male Seiyuu of the Year in the same year My Hero Academia reached its finale cements his legacy and allows him to stand tall at the peak.
