Tsuyokute New Saga anime revealed the second trailer, along with new voice cast, theme songs, and a July 2 premiere date. The anime was at first scheduled for July 2023, but was then delayed for 2 years due to ‘various circumstances.’
A change of studios was also previously announced. Studio SOTSU will be working together with Studio Clutch (established in February 2024, this is their first anime credit). This marks a change for the initial studios, which were Yokohama Animation Laboratory, Makaria and SOTSU.
Hisako Kanemoto and Akino Watanabe joined the voice cast. The opening theme song is “Performer” by 4s4ki, while the ending theme song is “her” by Mahiru Coda. You can hear both in the new trailer below.

The Tsuyokute New Saga (also known as New Saga Plus) light novel was written by Masayuki Abeand has illustrations by Ryuta Fuse. It was published by AlphaPolis from 2013 to 2018, ending with a total of10 volumes. There is also manga adaptation by Jun Miura, which was serialized from February 2014 to July 2023. It also has a total of 10 volumes. aAlpha Manga licensed the manga in English, and they describe the story:
After a grueling battle, the magic knight Kyle finally defeats the demon lord… or so he believes. He wakes up to find himself in the land that had been destroyed in his past life. He is reunited with the precious person he thought he had lost forever.
