Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister manga officially ends today after over 4 years and 4 months of serialization. The manga launched in April 2021, inspiring a 24-episode anime adaptation by studio Drive which aired through Fall 2025-Winter 2025.
To commemorate the conclusions, illustrations by Negi Haruba (The Quintessential Quintuplets, Go! Go! Loser Ranger) and Haruko Iizuka (the anime’s character designer) were revealed.
Marcey Naito wrote and illustrated the Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister (Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi) Japanese manga series. It was first published as a one-shot in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine before starting regular serialization in the same magazine in April 2021. Kodansha USA is publishing the manga in English, while Crunchyroll streams the anime.
The story follows Uryu Kamihate, a young boy who dreams of enrolling in a medical school. He joins the Amagami Shrine as a foster home, where the three beautiful sisters, Yae, Yuna and Asahi, live. Besides losing his chance of a peaceful life, he also gets told that he will have to marry one of the three maiden sisters and inherit the shrine, launching the romantic comedy.
