Übel Blatt anime has revealed the third key visual ahead of Episode 9, which is set to release this Saturday on March 8. Studios SATELIGHT and Staple Entertainment are animating, with the anime streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime.
The new visual focuses on the battles between Köinzell and Ichfeis, as well as Aht and Elsaria, in Jullas-Abllas. You can check it out below.
Übel Blatt Episode 9 Preview and Synopsis
The preview images and synopsis for Episode 9 were also revealed.
The episode begins with the strongest swordsman, Ichfeis, receiving a direct order from one of the Seven Heroes, Glenn, to hunt down the “Hero Killer”. Meanwhile, intense battles unfold in Jullas – Abllas as Elsaria and her allies confront Köinzell.

Yuya Hirose is voicing the protagonist Köinzell, with Hina Tachibana as Peepi. Hina Tachibana also performs the ending theme song. You can see the full voice cast below:

Etoroji Shiono writes and draws the Übel Blatt manga, which has been serialized by Square Enix since 2004. Manga UP! is publishing it in English.
The story follows Köinzell, a mysterious young boy who carries a black sword. Before changing his name, he was called Ascheriit, and he was betrayed by the Seven Heroes and labeled as the Traitorous Lances along with several others. Köinzell managed to survive by consuming fairy flesh, and he is now on his of quest of revenge against the Seven Heroes 20 years later.
