The previously announced Uchi no Kaisha no Chiisai Senpai no Hanashi (My Tiny Senpai) TV anime released a teaser trailer and visual alongside the main cast and staff on Friday. Voice actress Hina Tachibana is voicing Shiori Katase and Yuki Shin is Takuma Shinozaki. Studio Project No. 9 is animating the series which is slated to premiere in July 2023.
Mitsutoshi Sato is directing the anime while Keiichiro Ochi, Yasuko Aoki, and Satoshi Sugisawa are writing the screenplay. Hayato Hashiguchi and Hiromi Ogata are working together in charge of the character designs. Sumika Horiguchi is composing the music. The TV anime is based on the manga series written and illustrated by Saiso. Takeshobo’s Storia Dash website has been serializing the series since April 2020 and there are currently five volumes in circulation.
The plot follows Shinozaki, a regular office worker. His coworker, Shiori Katase, has a soft spot for him and is very kind and loving in her interactions with him. Shiori is a petite woman who doesn’t mind going out of her way to make Shinozaki’s day better. Shinozaki hopes that she is not doing this just because she feels it is her duty. However, he has no reason to worry, as Shiori’s actions speak more than words. The slice-of-life office romance story focuses on their growing relationship as they come to terms with their feelings.
