Umamusume: Pretty Derby is getting a new TV anime in 2025, and it will be adapting Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray. It is a spin-off manga featuring Oguri Cap as the main protagonist. CygamesPictures will handle the animation, while the main staff consists of Yuki Ito as the director, Aki Kindaichi in charge of the series composition, with Takuya Miyahara and Keigo Sasaki as the character designers.

The Umamusume: Pretty Derby game launched for iOS and Android on February 24, 2021 and for PC on March 10, 2021. Besides the TV anime and the Umayon short-form anime, the most recent new web anime project from the franchise ran for 4 episodes in October 2022 titled Umamusume Pretty Derby: Road to the Top. The Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray spin-off is written by Masafumi Sugiura and illustrated by Taiyo Kuzumi. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump since June 2020.
