Umamusume: Cinderella Gray manga series will officially begin its final arc (or “chapter”) next week on July 17 in Weekly Young Jump Issue #33. The announcement was previously made with a promotional image and confirmed on the official Umamusume social media accounts.
The manga has been on a brief break before the final arc begins, giving the creators time to prepare. The final arc will mark the beginning of the end for the popular spin-off of the Umamusume Pretty Derby franchise.
Written by Masafumi Sugiura (story), Taiyo Kuzumi (art), and more recently joined by Pita (co-writer) and Junnosuke Itoh (manga planning and structure), Cinderella Gray has become a fan-favorite. It follows Oguri Cap, a silver-haired horse girl aiming to rise from rural racing tracks to national stardom.
As of July 2025, the series has released 20 volumes in Japan. The manga is serialized in Weekly Young Jump by Shueisha, but is not yet officially licensed in English. An anime adaptation is also currently streaming, with Cour 1 recently winning the Spring 2025 Anime of the Season award.
