Unnamed Memory Season 2 was announced immediately after the first season’s emotional finale finished airing in Japan. Studio ENGI animated the show, with Kazuya Miura as the director. The sequel is titled ‘Act. 2’ and will premiere in January 2025.

The first season premiered on April 9. Deko Akao was in charge of the Unnamed Memory anime’s series composition. Chika Nomi was the character designs, and Akito Matsuda was the music composer. The main cast included Yoshiki Nakajima as Oscar and Atsumi Tanezaki as Tinasha. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime, describing its story:
Seeking to end a curse thwarting his lineage, Prince Oscar sets out on a quest that leads him to a powerful and beautiful witch, Tinasha, and he demands a unique bargain: marriage. Though unenthused by the proposal, she agrees to stay in his castle for a year while researching the spell cast upon him. Unnamed Memory anime is based on a light novel series written by Kuji Furumiya. It started on the user-generated content website Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2012 and was later picked up by ASCII Media Works and published under the Dengeki no Shin Bungei imprint with illustrations by Chibi. The light novel serialization lasted from January 2019 to April 2021 and was compiled into 6 volumes. There is also a manga adaptation with art by Naoki Koshimizu which is currently ongoing.
