Vinland Saga Season 2 revealed two new trailers that feature the opening and ending theme songs for the second cour. SURVIVE SAID THE PROPHET is returning with “Paradox,” the new opening (the band also sang the first season’s “MUKANJYO”) while haju:harmonics is singing “Ember,” the new ending. The anime is continuing into the Spring 2023 season. MAPPA is animating the sequel.
The theme songs for the first cour of Vinland Saga Season 2 were “River” by Anonymouz (opening song) and “Without Love” by LMYK (ending theme) and they were also introduced in separate trailers. The staff for the second season of Vinland Saga includes:

Crunchyroll and Netflix are streaming the anime, which is set to have 24 episodes. Crunchyroll describes the plot of the second season as:
A new millennium begins in the southern part of the Jutland peninsula in Denmark. After the death of his longtime enemy, Askeladd, Thorfinn lost his purpose in life. He was bought by the landowner Ketil as a “slave” and engaged in land reclamation work on his farm. Thorfinn meets a young man there, Einar, who was also a slave like him. The encounter of Einar led Thorfinn to face the sins he had committed and began to find meaning in life. On the other hand, Canute, who became the King of England, attempted to extend his territory for the establishment of “the promised land”. This is “The Story of a True Warrior (Saga)”. “The story of Atonement and Salvation (Saga)” that lies beyond the prologue.
