On March 15, voice actor Yuuto Uemura, largely known for his work as Thorfinn in VINLAND SAGA and Atsushi in Bungo Stray Dogs (among others) announced his marriage. He announced it through a handwritten message to his fans on his official X/Twitter account.
In the message, he expressed that he was blessed with his marriage and decided to move forward. He thanked his fans for their continued support and said that he will strive to grow even further both as an actor and performer. He would appreciate it if his fans continued to watch over him.
At the time of this writing, the post has over 1,000 replies. His message was received warmly from many people, mostly his fans, congratulating him on his marriage. Some of the messages also include congratulatory messages from other fellow voice actors, some of which came from Kensho Ono, Natsuki Hanae, Yuki Kaji, and Shouta Aoi.
Yuuto Uemura is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and singer affiliated with Himawari Theater Group. He started his voice acting career in 2002 and has voiced many notable roles. Some of the include Vinland Saga’s Thorfinn, Tsurune’s Minato Narumiya, and My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia)’s Tamaki Amajiki. He is also the main voice of Bungou Stray Dogs’s Atsushi Nakajima. The series has finished its 5th season on September 2023.
Uemura will be voicing the main character, Saneatsu Narita, in the new upcoming anime series, Tasuuketsu.
