Voice actress and singer Riho Iida (also known as Rippi) announced her marriage on January 1. In her Twitter announcement, Iida stated that is she thankful for the continued guidance and encouragement coming from her fans. She also thanked the fans for their constant support.
She also expressed her gratitude to everyone that has supported her so far, adding that despite being ‘immature’, she would like to grow more as a person and an artist. Her husband is not a part of the entertainment industry.
About Riho Iida
Riho Iida started out her career as a child star on the Tensai Terebi Kun MAX series on NHK Educational TV in 2002. She played the leading role for the film Shougaiken gibu no okurimono. Her first stint in anime involved voicing one of the main characters for the anime and game project Love Live! School Idol Project. In it, she played the role of Rin Hoshizora.
After the success of the Love Live!, she formed a duo called ‘4to6’ alongside co-star Pile. They their first single in August 2014. Her recent anime roles include Elise (King’s Raid: Successors of the Will), Miho Shirakawa (ODDTAXI), and Akira Tōdō (World’s End Harem).
She also performed songs for multiple anime openings, including Digimon Universe App Monsters, Boarding School Juliet, and King’s Raid: Successors of the Will.
