The official Twitter account for Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru (When Will Ayumu Make His Move?) has released a teaser trailer for the anime, as well as a July 2022 release date. Studio SILVER LINK. is in charge of the production, and you can watch the new trailer:
Yoshimasa Hosoya voices the male protagnoist Ayumu Tanaka, while Konomi Kohara voices Urushi Yaotome, a first-year high school student who secretly falls in love with Tanaka. Youmiya Hina and Gouda Tsubasa have also joined the cast as Kakuryuu Takeru and Mikage Sakurako, respectively.
The director for the anime is Mirai Minato at SILVER LINK. Kazuya Hirata is the character designer and Deko Akao is in charge of the series composition. You can also see the key visual:

Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru (When Will Ayumu Make His Move?) is the 2nd anime this year from Sōichirō Yamamoto, the author of the currently ongoing Teasing Master Takagi-san, and you can clearly see the similarity in the trailer. Kodansha publishes the manga in English, and they describe the story:
The new will they-won’t they romance from the creator of Teasing Master Takagi-san is here! Ayumu is in love with his senpai Yaotome, but he’s sworn not to confess his feelings until he can beat her at the board game shogi… The problem is, his love is obvious to Yaotome, and she can’t stop trying to trick him into breaking his vow! Fall in love again, fans of Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro, Komi Can’t Communicate, and Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie!
Interestingly, there will be yet another anime from the author later this year, and it’s Inside Tsubaki Kunoichi’s Heart.
