The results of the Winter 2021 Anime of the Season rankings have arrived!
In case you missed it, Anime Corner conducted weekly surveys for the Winter 2021 anime season from January 01, 2021 to April 02, 2021. 58,361 people took part in our surveys throughout the season, and our results are based on the total data that we have gathered so far.
We ran weekly polls from Week 1 to Week 12 this season, and then a final poll called “Anime of the Season” from March 26 to April 02, 2021.
The data from our final poll received 55 percent of the weight in the score ranking, while the data collected through our weekly polls received the remaining 45 percent. The 45 percent weight is distributed across the twelve weeks using various methods, resulting in multiple data sets that are then combined into an average.
It’s a weighted ranking, and we chose this method in order to produce a more balanced result.
To ensure data integrity, we have done our best to eliminate spam and data duplication by recording each user’s IP address and allowing only one vote per option for a specific poll via that address.
In other words, if you try to re-vote for an option in a poll while browsing incognito, your vote will be discarded. If you haven’t already, you can always return to vote for other options in a poll as long as it’s open.
WINTER 2021 Ranking Results
Before we go any further, we’d like to mention that “Jujutsu Kaisen” was only allowed in our weekly polls for data representation purposes, and it was not included in our calculations for “Winter 2021 Anime of the Season” rankings because it is considered a Fall 2020 anime.
Furthermore, the rankings below should not influence your decision to watch shows ranked lower than the Top 10, as each show has its own distinct style, and everyone’s taste in anime is different. This season was jam-packed with great shows, and we may not see another competitive season like it for a long time.

Congratulations to “Attack on Titan Season 4” for taking the top spot and becoming the season’s fan favorite! In addition, we’d like to congratulate “Mushoku Tensei” on being the runner-up as well as the season’s number one non-sequel anime.

The bar chart for our voters’ age group is shown below. The age option on our polls site is set to “< 13” by default, so we’ve listed that as “Unknown” because we’re not sure if a person is actually under 13 or if they just didn’t manually adjust that.

Similarly, a geographical chart is provided below to show how many people from each continent were included in our data calculation.
