The previously announced Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 has revealed a teaser visual, trailer, and an April 2026 premiere. The main staff working on the sequel has also been revealed.
Studios Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures will continue to animate the second season, while the first season director Tatsuya Yoshihara will be the chief director. Hideaki Nakano is serving as the new director. Sayaka Ono and Yuki Hayashi are also returning as the anime’s character designer and music composer, respectively.
The main voice cast includes:

- Satomi Amano as Colette Loire
- Lynn as Lihanna Owenzaus
- Aoi Inase as Kiki
- Masaaki Mizunaka as Sion Ulster

- Rumi Okubo as Iris X. Stellamaris
- Koji Yusa as Edward Serfence
- Tetsuya Kakihara as Julius Reinberg
The anime is based on the manga written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Toshi Aoi. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine since December 9, 2020. Kodansha USA licensed it in English, while Crunchyroll is streaming the anime adaptation. The latter describes it as follows:
