KADOKAWA has announced that Within the Villainess (Akuyaku Reijo no Naka no Hito) TV anime adaptation is scheduled for 2027. The announcement was followed with a teaser visual, teaser trailer, and the first cast details. The anime was first announced in May 2025.
The anime will star Miyuki Sawashiro as Remilia Rose Graupner and Rie Takahashi as Emi. The anime staff includes:

Within the Villainess began as a web novel in 2020 before being published in book form in 2021. The manga adaptation illustrated by Nazuna Shiraume began serialization in 2022 and concluded with its final volume in May 2025. As of March 2026, the series has over 4 million copies in circulation. The manga has also ranked in multiple web manga awards. The story is described:
