World's End Harem Artist Returns With New Harem Manga

Kotaro Shono, the artist of the World’s End Harem manga, is returning with a new harem manga on February 10. The manga is titled Mekkoku no Kangan and will have story written by Kei Saikawa, the writer of Hero Organization. The title roughly translates to Eunuch of the Fallen Kingdom, but the official English title will be revealed soon. It was announced along with a new manga by Boichi and 3 new titles.

MANGA Plus by SHUEISHA will release the series in English and Spanish at the same time as the Japanese version launches on Shueish’a Shonen Jump Plus (Shonen Jump+). It is described as “a breathtakingly beautiful foreign suspense thriller unraveling the conspiracies lurking in the harem palace.” You can see the first teaser image below.

World’s End Harem, written by LINK and illustrated by Kotaro Shono, was serialized on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform. The first part ran from May 2016 to June 2020, followed by Part 2, titled World’s End Harem: After World, on the same platform from May 2021 to May 2023. The series entered its final arc in December 2022 and concluded on May 7, 2023. An anime adaptation by studios AXsiZ and Gokumi ran for 11 episodes between October 2021 and March 2022.

Kei Saikawa is also writing Hero Organization, another manga serialized on Shonen Jump + MANGA Plus by SHUEISHA. It began in September 2024 and has art by Akira Takahashi. The story is set in the near-future with humanity heading to space to avoid extinction and facing ‘Star Beasts.’

Besides Mekkoku no Kangan, these titles will launch in February:

  • Darkest Corners of the Heart by Yuho Amayo (February 2)
  • The Marshal King by Boichi (February 7)
  • Imanin by Asako Mabuchi and Kohei Ando (February 20)
  • Love is Overkill by Ashima Asutora (February 25)
