Yakuza Fiancé anime revealed the first trailer, along with some additional cast members. The anime will premiere in October 2024, with Crunchyroll streaming it. Studio DEEN is animating, with the main voice cast including Hitomi Ueda as Yoshino Somei and Akira Ishida as Kirishima Miyama.
The ending theme song was decided to be “Nani Warotonnen” (What are you laughing at?) by Yoshino. New cast additions include Hiroshi Kamiya as Suo Azami and Koji Yusa as Shoma Toriashi.
The anime was announced back in October 2023, while the first staff and cast information was released in June. It will be directed by Toshifumi Kawase, with series composition and script by Rika Takasugi, character design by Itsuko Takeda, and music by Hiroaki Tsutsumi and Masato Suzuki.
Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii is a Japanese manga written and drawn by Asuka Konishi. It has been ongoing in Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon magazine since August 2017. Seven Seas Entertainment licenses the manga and describes the first volume:
