BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) Part 4 has revealed the preview for Episode 1 (Episode 41 overall). The anime is returning with the fourth and final cour, subtitled The Calamity, on July 25.
The anime premiered early in US theaters with the first three episodes. The first episode is titled “GOD OF THUNDER,” and you can see the synopsis and preview images below.
Ichigo and Uryu once again stand side by side as friends and comrades.
Ichigo, Orihime, and Chad head toward the throne room to defeat Yhwach. Meanwhile, Haschwalth blocks Uryu’s path, the King’s light glowing ominously in his eyes.
Below the castle, Yoruichi clashes with Askin Nakk Le Vaar. When Yoruichi is put in danger, Urahara appears and puts a plan into motion to turn the battle around. At the same time, strange disturbances begin spreading across all three worlds.

Created by Tite Kubo, BLEACH was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016 and concluded with 74 volumes. The manga has exceeded 130 million copies in circulation worldwide, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time.
The original anime adaptation aired from 2004 to 2012 and received four theatrical films. The franchise returned in 2022 with BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, adapting the manga’s final arc. Its final part (Part 4) is set to release in July. Tite Kubo has confirmed it will include even more original material than the previous parts, expanding the manga’s final battles.
On a related note, BLEACH: Mirrors High revealed its protagonists in a new trailer, with the game featuring original character designs by Tite Kubo.
