The upcoming You and I Are Polar Opposites released its 4th trailer on Friday. The latest trailer features the opening theme song “Lose the frames” by noa. The series is scheduled to premiere on January 11, 2026.
The ending theme song “Pure feat. Eriko Hashimoto,” by PAS TASTA, was previewed on the third trailer. The cast of the series includes:
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Suzuki
- Shogo Sakata as Tani
- Yuna Taniguchi as Watanabe
- Konatsu Hirabayashi as Sato
- Anji Iwata as Yamada
- Miyuri Shimabukuro as Azuma
- Wataru Kato as Taira
- Cocoro Omori as Nishi
- Tomori Kusunoki as Honda
Takayoshi Nagatomo is directing the anime at studio Lapin Track, and Teruko Utsumi is in charge of the series composition. Miyakomako is on character designs with Naho Kozono as the supporting character designer and chief animation director.
You and I Are Polar Opposites was originally published as a one-shot on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ in January 2021, before getting serialized on the same website starting in May 2022. The manga is available on the MANGA Plus website, which describes its story:
