You and I Are Polar Opposites Season 2 anime revealed the third trailer, introducing the ending theme song “You are the one” by Mega Shinnosuke. The second season was announced on March 29, and it is set to premiere on July 5, 2026. Studio Lapin Track (Undead Girl Murder Farce) is animating. The anime previously revealed the main visual for the upcoming sequel.
The previous trailer introduced the opening song “nekojarashi” by 7co, while you can hear the ending in the new trailer below.
The anime will also have be present at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles. A panel titled “After Class Hijinks with Suzuki and Tani of You and I Are Polar Opposites” is scheduled for July 3 at the Peacock Theater, featuring voice actors Sayumi Suzushiro and Shogo Sakata. The attendees will be able to watch the Season 2 premiere, hear live dubbing performances, and learn behind-the-scenes details about the series.

You and I Are Polar Opposites was originally published as a one-shot on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ in January 2021, before getting serialized in the same website starting in May 2022. It has been collected into a total of eight volumes as of March 4, 2025. The manga is also available on the MANGA Plus website, which describes its story:
