Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian (Roshidere) anime has revealed the preview images, video and synopsis for episode 5, which is slated to air on July 31. The episode is titled “Each One’s Resolution.” Studio Doga Kobo is animating the series, which is streaming on Crunchyroll.

The synopsis for the second episode 5 is as follows:
Alya softly mutters “I like you” in Russian. Masachika’s first crush from childhood comes to mind. As Masachika thinks about these two girls, Yuki casually drops by to spend some enjoyable time with her brother as usual. However, Yuki hears that Masachika will be supporting Alya, not her, in the student council president election. Meanwhile, Alya, remembering her own whispered words, feels flustered and can’t take her eyes off Masachika.

The Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian (Roshidere) anime is based on a light novel written by SunSunSun and illustrated by Momoco. The novel was initially published online as two short stories on the self-publishing website Shosetsuka ni Naro in May 2020. It was later acquired by Kadokawa Shoten’s Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint in 2021.
Crunchyoll is streaming the anime and describes the story as follows:
Alya is a transfer student enjoying popularity at her new high school, often sporting a cold shoulder while earning high marks in class. She ignores her nerdy classmate, Kuze Masachika, except for when she blurts out a flirtatious line to him in Russian. Little does she know, Kuze understands Russian, though he pretends not to. Let’s see where this wacky love story takes them!
