Yuko Miyamura to Guest at Geek+Pop Alpha in the Philippines

Geek+Pop has announced that voice actress Yuko Miyamura will be the special guest for the upcoming “Geek+Pop Alpha” event at the World Trade Center in the Philippines. The event will be from February 28 to March 2, 2025.

Organized by Cadre 28, Geek+Pop Alpha “gathers the strongest communities in the Philippine Fandom – Videogamers, Cosplayers, Card Gamers, Tabletop Gamers, Toy Enthusiasts, and more.” Special guest Yuko Miyamura is this year’s highlight of the event as she is renowned as one of the most iconic voices in pop culture:

“The voice actress who played Chun Li and Asuka Langley Soryu is going to Geek+Pop Alpha!

Anime fans and Gamers, let’s go! Don’t miss this amazing chance to meet one of the most iconic voices in pop culture. Arriving in Manila is renowned voice actress Ms. Yuko Miyamura. She voiced Asuka Langley Soryu in the legendary Anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. And she is also the voice of Chun Li in Marvel vs Capcom and Street Fighter Alpha videogame series for consoles and arcades.Other amazing characters Ms. Miramuya has voiced include Kazuha Toyama from Detective Conan, Larxene from Kingdom Hearts, Akane from the Pokemon Anime, and Lei Lei from Darkstalkers.“
