The previously announced Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha TV anime adaptation revealed a new trailer and visual this weekend at AnimeJapan2023. Present at the event were voice actors Naoya Miyase, Akiho Suzumoto, Yumiri Hanamori, and Kaori Ishihara who are all part of the cast. The anime is scheduled to premiere this summer.
Studios Gokumi and AXsiZ are collaborating in animating the anime with Kazuomi Koga as director. Michiko Yokote is supervising the series composition while Miyabi Ozeki is in charge of adapting the character designs from the light novel. Hajime Takukawa is acting as the sound director at Pony Canyon. The main cast of the series includes

- Kaori Ishihara as Rin Shinomiya
The TV anime adaptation of Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha is based on the light novel written by Okemaru. The light novel was initially launched on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in December 2018. Hobby Japan later acquired the title with illustrations provided by Mizore Saba and is publishing it in print with 7 volumes currently in circulation. The 8th volume is scheduled to release on April 1, 2023. An ongoing manga adaptation by Popuri Yoshikita is being serialized on Kadokawa Shoten’s Shonen Ace Plus website since March 2021. The manga currently has 3 volumes being distributed.
