The upcoming Yuri Is My Job anime revealed a new key visual on Saturday featuring the characters Hime Shirasagi, Mitsuki Ayanokoji, Kanoko Mamiya, and Sumika Chibana. The anime is slated to premiere in the spring of 2023 and the first episode was screened at this year’s Anime Frontier.
Yuri Is My Job TV anime previously revealed a teaser visual and trailer. Studio Lings and Passione are animating the series with Hijiri Sanpei’s direction while Taisuke Iwasaki is illustrating the character designs. The cast of the anime includes:
- Yui Ogura as Hime Shirasagi
- Sumire Uesaka as Mitsuki Ayanokoji
- Minami Tanaka as Kanoko Mamiya
- Makoto Koichi as Sumika Chibana
- Yukari Tamura as Mai Mikoshiba
- Asami Seto as Nene Nishidera
The anime is adapted from the manga written and illustrated by Minman. Kodansha is publishing the English version of the girls’ love manga. Crunchyroll will be streaming the anime and they described the plot as:
Hime gets roped into working at a weird café where the waitresses pretend to be students at an all-girl boarding school. She’s strangely taken with her partner Mitsuki, who’s so kind to her in front of the customers. There’s just one problem…Mitsuki really can’t stand her!
